MARCH 9 - FRI .& MARCH 10, SAT., 2012

Didn't get around to writing yesterday. It was a busy day. Did laundry in the morning, in the afternoon Maryjo & I went shopping at a mall in Destine, FL. about 1/2 hr from Panama City Beach. Richard & Paul stayed at the condo. Richard took his metal detector down to walk the beach. He found 36 cents! We had dinner at their condo & then played a game. We didn't get back to our RV till late evening & I was tired. This morning we took a bike ride down to the beach at St.Andrews Park where our campsite is. There were people para-sailing & there was a group of college kids training to scuba dive. The weather was beautiful. We also watched some men cleaning the fish (mackerel) they caught. Sea gulls & pelicans were standing by to catch the fish droppings (yuck!) We walked the beach & found sea shells. Then we met with Maryjo & Paul at their condo & Maryjo & I went to Pier Point Mall . Richard walked the beach with his detector & found a penny! But he had fun doing it & got some sun burn also. We were going to go out for dinner, but all four of us were tired, so we got take-out & ate at the condo. Delicious baby back ribs. We celebrated Richard's up coming birthday & played cards.
