MARCH 6, 2012 - TUES.

A very Happy, Happpy 21st Birthday to our first born grandson, Christopher Richard. Hard to believe we have a 21 year old grandson, my goodness we are old! So we had better make the best of our time, which we are doing. We left Miss. this morning. On our way we had to go through a portion of Lousiana before we reached the "finger" of FL. So we actually were in 3 states today It was another beautiful day & the traffic was light until we got to the FL state line,then we were in traffic for over 2 hours, just barely moving. They were doing repairs to the bridge over the Gulf and all traffic had to be re-routed. What a mess! But we finally made it to our campsite in Black Water River State Park in Holt, FL. It is a really nice park, very neat & there are several other RVers here, also campers in tents. We will be here for 2 nights. We saw a nice bike trail when we came in the park, so we will ride it tomorrow. It was late afternoon by the time we finally got here today.
