MARCH 16, 2012 - FRIDAY

Well today was a driving day.We arrived at our next campsite - "Oaks & Pines" in Lake City, FL in the afternoon. After we got our RV hooked up, I went to the laundry room to do our laundry (clothes have to be washed just like at home)Then we looked for & found a Catholic church because being lent & Friday we figured they would have a fish fry, which they indeed did. It was a very good meal, can't remember what kind of fish but it was very good along with parsley potatoes, delicious green beans with tomatoes, salad or coleslaw, roll, apple pie with ice cream & chocolate chip cookies & a drink all for $7! The priest was a young fellow & he came over & talked to us. When we got back to our RV it was a beautiful evening so we played a game of scrabble outside on the picnic table ( Richard won). Tomorrow we will make it to Jack & Jan's in Orlando where we will camp in their driveway for the next 6 days.
