MARCH 17,2012 - SATURDAY

Happy St. Pat's Day! We made it to Jack & Jan's in Orlando in the afternoon without any problems. It was a beautiful day so Jack took the 4 of us for a boat ride around the private lake their house is on. It was very refreshing. Being St.Pat's day, Jan had made a delicious supper of corned beef & cabbage (one of my favorite meals). We then played a card game of spades - Jan & I were partners against Richard & Jack & we won!! Oh, I also saw my first gecko!! I think they live in Orlando. I absolutely hate those critters!!!! Jack said they are more afraid of us then we are of them, but in my case, I don't think so! People here just take them for granted. I guess it's like we at home take squirrels for granted. I decided I will take loud steps as I walk so they hear me coming & just scurry away.
