April 2 & 3. - Tues & Wed.

Tues. - A very Happy 20th Birthday to our grandson, Jacob! We called him at Notre Dame to wish him a great day! It was another warm, sunny day, so we decided to take a drive to the beaches in Miami, which is about 107 miles away.Our first stop was to get Richard a new pair of sunglasses, and a floatable strap! We went to a beach in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park called Key Biscayne. A really nice sandy (not shells) beach. The parking lot was close to the beach. The water was not very cold and was very clear. The waves were gentle. I was able to walk out to my waist on sand. We spent the day there. The drive back was bumper to bumper traffic. Driving in Miami is like driving in Chicago!
