March 29 - Wednesday

We woke to a clear morning, and very warm temp. We crossed over the state line into FL. We decided to spend the night in Silver Springs near Ocala at the Wilderness RV park. A super nice park. We had stayed there a few years ago for a month, on one of our trips. We arrived early afternoon, so we unhooked the car from the tow dolly for the first time this trip. We did a little shopping. Then we went to a local restaurant for a good meal. Tomorrow we continue on our journey to the "J & J  RV Resort" better know as our friends, Jack & Jan in Orlando where we will spend the weekend.

March 28 - Tuesday

We left KY and drove through most of Georgia. Beautiful weather after the storms of the past few days. We spent the night in Arabi,GA, which is very near the GA/FL state line, at a nice family owned RV park. We arrived late afternoon, after driving 285 miles. Richard decided to be "chef" for dinner....hot dogs on the grill!!

March 27 - Monday

We woke to a clear morning, it was a nice travel day. We left KY and drove the width of TENN almost to the TENN/GA state line. We spent the night in Jasper, TENN, which was ironic being that a few weeks ago we had to have our dog, Jasper put to sleep. He could not hear nor see very well any more, had only a few teeth left and had a lot of arthritis. It was hard for him to get around. He was part of our family for 15 years, so it was a very hard decision to make, but we knew it was the right, humane one. 😢. There was another strong storm at night, in fact several. Lots of thunder & lightening. Our site was by a lake, beautiful scenery.

March 26, 2017 - Sunday

Well Pauper's Pride is on the road again! You are welcome to "join us" via our journal. We are on our way back down to sunny Florida. This trip will be to Central Florida, and the ocean side. We left home Sun., March 26th with rain joining us. The rain stayed with us for about an hour, but the rest of the day was pretty much over-cast. Traffic was fairly light. We drove 345 miles, about 8 hrs. We spent the night in Paducah, KY at a Çampground we stayed at on previous trips. There was a Hugh storm in the night with thunder & lightening and very hard pouring rain. (Of course Richard slept through it!!!)
