Well Pauper's Pride is on the road again! We are on our way to Florida. We got it out of storage Sat. & I spent the weekend freshening it up & we started to load it up. Being that this is our first trip of the season, there is a lot of things to put in it like bedding, linens, toiletries, then all the things necessary like food, clothes (which I always take too much of, but you never know what the weather will be like & I want to make sure I'm prepared.) After checking & rechecking and straightening everything at home, I finally closed the door at 8:30 A.M. ( I was so proud of myself to get an early start, but of course Richard was outside in the RV with the motor running waiting for me.) He checked everything on the RV & got our bikes loaded on my car & got my car on the tow dolly and I of course was still checking things in the house, making sure everything was "just so". It was a good thing that we took Jasper to his vacation with"cousin Tony" the day before. Tony barked every time Matthew or Zachary gave Jasper any attention, but when I checked on him later, Nancy said Tony quieted down.Well we got on our way & the weather was sunny but extremely windy which makes driving very intense for Richard because the wind sways the RV. He kept it at about 50 - 55mph, but we arrived at out first campsite "Duck Creek RV Park" in Paducah, Ky. With the wind it took us 8 hrs. It's a nice park & has free cable TV & Wi-Fi. Tomorrow we will head for TN, hope the weather is nice and LESS WINDY!
